SPI organizes a new mission to Brazil

From 12 to 23rd December SPI visited the states of Maranhão and São Paulo to follow up on projects and partnerships it has been developing in Brazil.
The delegation from SPI was in the city of São Luís do Maranhão from 12 to 16th December and met with representatives from the Tourism sector in the context of a project to develop a Tourism Cluster, funded by the World Bank and coordinated by SPI. In this context, on 15th December, the last of 7 workshops was held with participants from the Tourism sector. The aim of this workshop was to design key projects for the devlopment of São Luís as a tourist destination.
Also in the context of this mission, the consultants from SPI met with representatives from the local authorities to discuss ways in which external investment could be attracted to the city.
From 19 to 23rd December, SPI representatives were in São Paulo, where they met with technology parks, business associations and research organizations in the cities of Piracicaba, São José dos Campos and in the city of São Paulo itself. The aim of these meetings was the development of partnerships and future collaborations in the areas of innovation, science and technology.
