SPI in the International Technology Transfer Beijing Conference 2012

The International Technology Transfer Beijing Conference 2012 (ITTC 2012) took place in March 26-27, 2012, at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, China.
ITTC 2012 focused on 5 tech sectors: Green Building, Agro-biotech & Green Food, Digital Content & 4G Tech, Life Science & Pharma Industry, High-end Equipment. The event was an excellent opportunity for matching tech demand and tech offer among oversea participants. Over 1000 participants from Chinese companies and companies from Europe (Finland, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, UK, etc.), US, and East Asia (South Korea, Japan) attended the event.
Sara Medina, Member of the Board of SPI, was one of the speakers at the Conference, sharing SPIís practices in fostering the internationalization process of European and Chinese SMEs.
SPI is a major player in supporting Portuguese companies in technology transfer in China through its partnership agreement with Coway. Coway is the leading technology transfer and commercialization services provider in China, which was established in 2002 by the initiative of Tsinghua University, one of the most important Chinese universities in science and technology. Coway is responsible for business activities and operations of the International Technology Transfer Center (ITTC) of Tsinghua University.
