SPI gardens honoured with the Portuguese Prize for Landscape Architecture

14 May 2013

The new and recently opened SPI premises in Porto had its gardens honoured with the Portuguese Prize for Landscape Architecture.

This prize is awarded by the publication Jornal Arquitecturas with the support of the Portuguese Association of Landscape Architects that yearly recognizes both the talent and the excellence of the work of landscape architects as well as their national and international projects.

In this year’s edition, in the "Parks & Gardens Projects” category, the award was attributed to SPI’s garden designed by the architect Laura Costa.

According to the project’s abstract, the preservation of all trees and shrubs existing in the area allowed the design of a space with its own character that attracts employees and visitors in their different business and recreational activities.
