SPI in Istanbul to provide training for NCPs of Central Asian countries

Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (www.spieurope.eu) has provided a training session on Innovation Management and Technology Transfer to the National Contact Points (NCP) from different Central Asian countries. In addition to these topics, the session also featured the dissemination of support mechanisms under the H2020 programme, namely the SME Instrument.
The event organized by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, Tubitak (www.tubitak.gov.tr) took place in Istanbul on 12th -13th of March and included participants from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

This training session was implemented under the IncoNet CA Project (www.inco-ca.net) whose main objective is to promote cooperation between the European Union and the countries in Central Asia (CA) in the area of Science, Technology and Innovation. The project provides special attention to promoting the participation of institutions and researchers in CA countries in Horizon 2020.

The project consortium comprises 16 partners from 14 countries, its coordination is ensured by CeRISS Greece (www.ceriss.eu), and its administrative management by IPPT PAN Poland (www.ippt.pan.pl).
