Bringing together researchers, scientists, policy-makers, innovative companies and other stakeholders of ASEAN and EU countries, the 3-day conference focused primarily on the areas of STI issues and bi-regional cooperation. The second workshop EU-ASEAN Co-operation aimed at promoting the reciprocity of EU-China research collaboration in scientific, technological and industrial research and innovation fields, as well as disseminating Chinese funding opportunities.
Apart from the workshops, SPI also organized the Showcase of ASEAN-EU Research and Innovation Co-operation, which brought 20 exhibitors from 12 countries who had the opportunity to show their projects and research to the public, thus creating an enabling and stimulating environment for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and networking opportunities.
