SPI in collaboration with EBN and EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUMCCI) are engaged in Support for European Business in South East Asia Markets Malaysia Component (SEBSEAM-M), a project co-funded by the European Commission aimed at promoting Malaysia as a direct trade market and as an easy, cost-effective gateway to the ASEAN market of 600 million consumers.
Malaysia as a gateway to ASEAN has been a hot spot for government funded large-scale infrastructure projects as well as private sector residential and commercial developments for many years. Despite the recent downtrend in oil prices, tight fiscal budget measures and the recent implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), the construction industry is forecast to experience further strong growth.
The Q&A webinar "Raising the Game for European Small-and-Medium Sized Professional Service and Technology Providers in the Malaysian Construction Industry", will be held on 12th May 2015 (Focus: Engineering Services) and 27th May 2015 (Focus: Architectural Services) on 5:00pm to 6.30pm Malaysian time (GMT + 8h).
