SPI Co-Organizes Horizon 2020 Funding Opportunities Dissemination Seminar in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam

The Horizon 2020 Funding Opportunities Dissemination Seminar, a half day seminar by the European Commission (EC - DG Research and Innovation) in collaboration with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Ho Chi Minh City University Of Technology (HCMUT), National Centre for Scientific and Technological Information, Vietnam (NASATI),  European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Eurocham VN), and SEAEUNETII Project represented by Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) as one of the project partners and Eureka network was held on 3 and 4 November 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam, respectively.

The events attracted local Government institutions, R&D and innovation communities, research institutes and academia, SMEs and Start-ups communities, and also other organisations with a focus on research and innovation.

The seminar provided the latest information on future opportunities for Vietnamese institutions and organizations within the framework of Horizon 2020 and showcased success stories from both European and Vietnamese perspectives.

This seminar is part of the SEA-EU-NET II project which aims at fostering cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation between the member states of the European Union and the countries of the Southeast Asia. The project is ongoing and is funded by the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7), the predecessor of H2020.
