Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) has participated, on the 18th and 19th of February, at the Free University of Bolzano, Italy in the identification of best practices workshop of the CompAssess project “Assessment of student competences with emphasis on the development of competences”, of which it is a partner.
The objective of the project is the creation of a European network for international cooperation to share best practices cases in the field of competence assessment in a competence-based training model. The project will determine the current situation in the participant countries concerning competence assessment practices and/or tools, define best practices, design implementation plans, and implementation of assessment practices and tools in the VET organizations participating in the project.
During the workshop, the best practices identified before the meeting were presented as well as it was discussed the framework of open competences, prepared by the Free University of Bolzano. The next steps include the testing of the competences’ assessment framework and the creation of impact assessment tools. The next project meeting and workshop will be at SPI, in Porto.
