The DragonSTAR Plus 3rd Webinar - Conducting R&D in China and applying for co-funding for Horizon 2020 Projects was co-organized by SPI and China IPR SME Helpdesk on 15th of June, 2016.
The DragonSTAR Plus is a project financed by the European Commission under the new Horizon 2020 programme, that aims on providing services to both European and Chinese researchers, and on offering a flexible platform to support policy discussions between the European and Chinese stakeholders.
The webinar aimed to conduct the know-how on IP strategy for R&D in China and to present the guidelines on co-funding for Horizon 2020.  The webinar was well attended with more than 40 participants from China, UK, Portugal, among others.
The webinar agenda included two presentations made by the EU and Chinese experts, addressing “Developing your IP strategy before conducting R&D in China” and “How to apply for the co-funding from MoST, China for Horizon 2020 project”. After the presentations, the webinar ended up with a fruitful open discussion which allowed participants to engage in the webinar actively.
