SPI, who is an expert in science and technology and in particular in International Technology Transfer (ITT) was contracted to support and assist Ristek to assess options for their role in facilitating the acquisition of international technology by Indonesian industry.
- SPI provided capacity building and a scoping report to RISTEK setting out options for roles and mechanisms (alternative policy instruments) for facilitating international technology transfer, and an initial assessment of the resource and capability implications of the most appropriate role and mechanisms.
