Kick-off meeting of the NATURELAB project, at LNEC’s
From the 27th to the 29th of June, Andréia Santos, Luma Vasconcelos, João Barata and Douglas Thompson represented Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação – SPI in the kick-off meeting of the NATURELAB project, at LNEC’s facilities, in Lisbon, Portugal. NATURELAB is a Research and Innovation Actions project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Programme (Grant Agreement number 101083857) and will have a duration of 54 months, starting on June 1st, 2023 and ending on November 30th, 2027. It aims to explore the potential of nature-based interventions for improving health and well-being by focusing on the development of nature-based therapies (NBT) that promote well-being, support health prevention, and aid in rehabilitation.
Led by Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC, Portugal), the project involves 12 Partners and 2 Associated partners from six countries, including Portugal, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Peru and the United Kingdom and will engage approximately 4,000 participants across 15 Experimental Sites and 4 Demonstrator Fellows located in rural, coastal, and urban areas.
As leader of WP5 – Communication, dissemination & exploitation, SPI, together with LNEC, will be responsible for developing a clear identity for NATURELAB and the design and implementation of a dissemination, communication, and exploitation strategy. This includes the conception and maintenance of the projects’ official website and other social media networks.
