SPI attended the Kick-off (KO) Meeting of the MAIA (Maximising Impact and Accessibility of European Climate Research) project on 26th – 27th September.
The speakers of this 3rd session were Monique Kwachou (Better Breed Cameroon / University of the Free State), Simone Andersson (WEEE Centre) and Tania Tena Pérez (Fundación Mujeres por Africa).
The meeting focused on the presentation and discussion of project final results and overall impact, including a WP status update.
On the 14th of September, the Honorable Consul General of Luxembourg in São Paulo, Brazil, Jan Eichbaum, visited SPI’s office in Porto. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the prospects that some Brazilian institutions and companies have to expand their work to Europe.
