From March 3rd to 5th, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) participated in the European Ocean Days in Brussels, under the BlueMissionAA and AtlantECO projects. This is a key event to shape European ocean policies and foster collaboration under the Mission Ocean banner.

The event marked participation of eighty-two participants from different European cities, including consortium members, stakeholders and IAB members, project fellows and other researchers in the Food Consumer Science (FCS) field.

From December 10-12, 2024, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) participated in the MONTEVITIS project meeting, workshop, and thematic seminar held across Portugal at UTAD in Vila Real, Quinta da Pacheca in Lamego, and Quinta do Bonfim in Pinhão. On November 27, 2024, the Environmental Advocacy and Justice Workshop brought together 33 participants—including teens, young adults, and experts—focused on crafting impactful social media campaigns for environmental and social justice.

SPI, representing the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk (LinkedIn), recently participated in the VDS+ tech event (LinkedIn) held at the astonishing Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias from October 23-24. SPI consultant Ivan Sá Vieira engaged with a diverse range of start-ups, primarily from Valencia and surrounding regions, while also connecting with interesting SMEs from the Netherlands, Greece, and Portugal.

On February 10th 2024, SPI organised and participated in the Academic Training of COMFOCUS in Bologna, Italy. The event was hosted by the University of Bologna, Department of Agri-food Sciences and Technologies.

SPI was pleased to take part in the Kick-off meeting of E-SPFDigit Project, held from 8th to 9th October. The project aims to develop and scale AI-driven digital tools for real-time, onsite monitoring of chemical contaminants in viticulture and horticulture.

On October 2nd and 3rd, SPI took part in the SEHRENE consortium meeting held in Granada, Spain. The meeting brought together all project partners to review the progress of key work packages and plan the next steps in the development of the Electro-Thermal Energy Storage (ETES) system.

From June 25th to 28th, SPI participated in the CommuniCity Project General Assembly and Workshop Training held in Amsterdam. Ricardo Oliveira and Raquel Silva represented SPI as the Communication and Dissemination Task Leaders as part of Work Package 6.
The first day featured the project’s General Assembly, where each Work Package discussed the next steps in preparation for the project’s final and third open call.
On the second day, an internal workshop was held at the Culture Club, during which the Consortium introduced the new cities and challenges for the Third Open Call.

The first day of the meeting started with welcome speeches by Miguel Angel Garcia Muro, Deputy of Digital Transformation of Zaragoza City (Area of Economy, Digital Transformation, and Transparency), and David Rodríguez Ochoa, Head of the Funding and Transfer Unit at CIRCE. It was followed by the Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting where each of the Work Packages and its development status was presented.

From March 3rd to 5th, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) participated in the European Ocean Days in Brussels, under the BlueMissionAA and AtlantECO projects. This is a key event to shape European ocean policies and foster collaboration under the Mission Ocean banner.

The event marked participation of eighty-two participants from different European cities, including consortium members, stakeholders and IAB members, project fellows and other researchers in the Food Consumer Science (FCS) field.

From December 10-12, 2024, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) participated in the MONTEVITIS project meeting, workshop, and thematic seminar held across Portugal at UTAD in Vila Real, Quinta da Pacheca in Lamego, and Quinta do Bonfim in Pinhão. On November 27, 2024, the Environmental Advocacy and Justice Workshop brought together 33 participants—including teens, young adults, and experts—focused on crafting impactful social media campaigns for environmental and social justice.

SPI was pleased to take part in the Kick-off meeting of E-SPFDigit Project, held from 8th to 9th October. The project aims to develop and scale AI-driven digital tools for real-time, onsite monitoring of chemical contaminants in viticulture and horticulture.

On October 2nd and 3rd, SPI took part in the SEHRENE consortium meeting held in Granada, Spain. The meeting brought together all project partners to review the progress of key work packages and plan the next steps in the development of the Electro-Thermal Energy Storage (ETES) system.

From June 25th to 28th, SPI participated in the CommuniCity Project General Assembly and Workshop Training held in Amsterdam. Ricardo Oliveira and Raquel Silva represented SPI as the Communication and Dissemination Task Leaders as part of Work Package 6.
The first day featured the project’s General Assembly, where each Work Package discussed the next steps in preparation for the project’s final and third open call.
On the second day, an internal workshop was held at the Culture Club, during which the Consortium introduced the new cities and challenges for the Third Open Call.

The first day of the meeting started with welcome speeches by Miguel Angel Garcia Muro, Deputy of Digital Transformation of Zaragoza City (Area of Economy, Digital Transformation, and Transparency), and David Rodríguez Ochoa, Head of the Funding and Transfer Unit at CIRCE. It was followed by the Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting where each of the Work Packages and its development status was presented.
