SPI joins the Understanding China conference in Brussels

Dr. Sara Medina from Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), in representation of the EU SME Centre, an EU-funded initiative created to provide free first-line services to small and medium-sized businesses from EU Member States and SMP-participating countries, in which SPI is a partner, attended the Understanding China event, that took place on the 24th and 25th of October in the Hotel Renaissance in Brussels.

SPI at the European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO23)

As a partner of the Regions4Climate (R4C) project, SPI attended the European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO), which took place at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Cascais, Portugal, from the 18th to the 20th of October, 2023. R4C was one of the co-organisers of this year’s 10th-anniversary edition that gathered resilience-makers, innovators, providers, and supporters to help shape a resilience transformation in Europe.

LIFE-ECOSWEEE: Enhancing collection of small W/EEE and batteries.

Every electric or electronic product and battery not collected represents a missed opportunity. The materials in the WEEE that are not collected will not be available for manufacturing new products. New materials may have to be mined instead, which is a lot more damaging for biodiversity and the environment at large
