SPADE Workshop and Consortium Meeting in Mallorca: Strengthening Smart Agriculture Collaboration

SPI, represented by Septian Setiawan, Valeriia Hudz and Diogo Moreira attended the SPADE project events held in Sollér, Mallorca from 14 to 16 October 2025, under the SPADE project. The programme included a World Café workshop on drone in agritech applications, the consortium meeting, and a study visit, bringing together European partners to exchange experiences and plan future actions.

SPI supported in the organisation of the workshop with AnySolution on 14 October focused on the use of drones for agricultural spraying. Participants expressed strong interest in administrative, financial, and practical aspects of drone use — including certification, equipment validation, and operational best practices developed by SPADE and ICAERUS project.

The consortium meeting on 15–16 October, hosted at the Capvespre Agromuseum Centre in Sóller, reviewed project milestones, exploitation strategies, and upcoming pilot activities. A study visit to local agricultural sites showcased best practices in precision farming and digital transformation, aligning closely with SPADE’s mission.

SPI, as the WP5 leader actively contributed to leading the discussion on exploitation and sustainability, supporting the identification of key outcomes and future opportunities to extend SPADE’s impact beyond the project.

The Mallorca events successfully combined knowledge exchange, technical collaboration, and field experience, reinforcing SPADE’s commitment to advancing smart, data-driven, and sustainable agriculture across Europe.
