SPI attended the Consortium Meeting of the STARGATE Project in Athens, Greece
On the 15th and 16th of April 2024, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) participated in the consortium meeting of the STARGATE project – reSilienT fARminG by Adaptive microclimate, held in Athens, Greece.
STARGATE is a Horizon 2020 funded project aimed at developing a breakthrough, multiscale and holistic climate-smart agriculture methodology to help farmers and policymakers achieve short and long-term adaptation to climate change, capitalizing innovations in the field of microclimate and weather risk management, as well as in the field of landscape design.
The project is coordinated by CERTH – The Centre for Research & Technology, and the consortium is composed of 26 partners from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
Throughout the meeting, consortium partners shared key project outcomes and outlined plans for the forthcoming months. SPI, leading Task 7.5 (Market Analysis) and Task 7.6 (Business Modelling and Exploitation) within Work Package 7 (Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation), was represented by Diana Sousa and Inês Pinho.
