On the 19th and 20th of April 2023, SPI-Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação attended the Hannover Messe in Hannover, Germany. The Hannover Messe is an important international platform with focus on industrial transformation. The event offers a broad range of industry sectors, such as industrial IT, subcontracting, R&D, energy, automation, and engineering.
Representing the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk, SPI contacted and performed match-making activities to make SMEs in the European Union and the Single Market Programme countries (currently EU members plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein) aware of the availability of a first line IP assistance service to those that operate in or intend to enter in the South-East Asia (SEA) market. The South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk, through the offer of free information and services with jargon-free confidential advice, training, and online resources, helps SMEs to protect and enforce their IP rights in SEA.
SPI is partner sharing responsibilities in training, match-making and awareness raising events and it was represented by Igor Lopes who attended the event in Hannover and performed 1 to 1 interaction with the SMEs.
