SPI participated in the 3rd EHHUR General Assembly Meeting in Kozani, Greece

On 1st and 2nd July 2024, SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, as responsible for planning and executing the engagement and co-creation sessions with the local community of lighthouse 4 (Bairro do Sobreiro, Maia), participated in the 3rd General Assembly Meeting of EHHUR. The consortium meeting took place at the University of Western Macedonia, in Kozani (first day), and at the CERTH/CPERI premises, in Ptolemaida (second day).

Eyes Hearts Hands Urban Revolution is an EU-funded project which develops and tests a new integrated and co-designed methodology to support cities in their built environment transformation. The project will employ already existing good practices and complement them with the New European Bauhaus and EU Missions principles. The solutions will be tested in 7 Lighthouse demonstrators.

During the first day of the General Assembly, EHHUR partners had the opportunity to share updates on project’s progress. Participants were actively engaged in workshops focused on enhancing social and community engagement, improving communication and dissemination strategies, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). The day concluded with a visit to the historic Kozani Library, offering a glimpse into the local culture.

On the second day, presentations centred around the seven lighthouses involved in the project. They all presented their updates, ongoing activities and challenges specific to their district. They also had the opportunity to take part in dynamic workshops, rotating every 20 minutes to foster idea exchange and mutual learning. SPI, represented by Diogo Moreira, took the opportunity to take part in the workshops and contribute to the presentation, representing lighthouse 4 (Bairro do Sobreiro, Maia).
