SPI participated in the Summer School of the FOSTER project that took place from May 20–23 in Sopron, Hungary. The event brought together 38 participants—including academic partners and CDIs (Change-Driven Initiatives) —to continue a collective journey toward transforming food systems.
Representing SPI, Taisiia Bondarenko presented the latest updates of Work Package 5 – Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation, and co-led the governance session at the event.
The event focused on deepening mutual understanding and applying transformation concepts through shared learning. Key goals included exploring how CDIs are navigating food system change, identifying synergies between FOSTER and CDIs work, and learning from diverse experiences.
The Summer School served as a catalyst for deeper collaboration, inspiring new strategies and reinforcing the power of collective action in shaping more just and sustainable food systems.
