SPI participates at the 2nd GlycanTrigger General Assembly Meeting in Leiden
On April 23rd-24th, 2024, SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, as the leader of Work Package 5 – Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communication, attended the 2nd GlycanTrigger General Assembly Meeting. The consortium meeting took place at the Leiden University Medical Center in Leiden, the Netherlands.
GlycanTrigger is a project funded by the European Commission within the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Actions that aims to understand how changes in gut glycome trigger health-to-chronic inflammation transition. The project is coordinated by the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (i3S) and brings together 9 organisations from 6 different European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom) and 1 non-European country (United States of America).
The two-day meeting served to address the current project progress and challenges, as well as to define the project’s next steps. SPI, represented by Diana Sousa and Francisco Rocha, took the opportunity to provide an overview of the communication and dissemination activities, and presented its future approach for organising a series of workshops and webinars directed at inflammatory bowel disease patients.
