SPI Participates in SEHRENE Consortium Meeting in Granada
On October 2nd and 3rd, SPI took part in the SEHRENE consortium meeting held in Granada, Spain. The meeting brought together all project partners to review the progress of key work packages and plan the next steps in the development of the Electro-Thermal Energy Storage (ETES) system.
SPI, represented by Ana Fernandes and Mafalda Trigueiro, presented updates on Work Package 7 (WP7), contributing to discussions on the project’s progress and collaboration strategies. The meeting also included working sessions focused on WP3, WP5, and WP6, where partners explored the project’s modelling strategy, Carnot battery developments, and use case analysis.
On the second day, participants visited the Cuerva industrial park, where they toured the substation and an industrial client, Nordwik, an ice-cream manufacturer integrating PV, storage, and energy management systems.
SPI is proud to contribute to SEHRENE’s mission of advancing innovative energy storage solutions for Europe’s green future.
