SPI Participates in the 5.º Fórum Internacional das CCI Bilaterais in Porto
On 1 July 2026, SPI participated in the 5.º Fórum Internacional das CCI Bilaterais, held in Porto. Representing both SPI and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Indonesia Portugal (CCIIP), Sara Medina and Tiara Amadea attended the event to strengthen international business connections while promoting the services of the Southeast Asia IP SME Helpdesk (SEA IP Helpdesk).
As part of the programme, Sara Medina took part in the “Countries of the East” panel discussion on behalf of CCIIP. During the session, she highlighted Indonesia’s growing economic potential and the opportunities it offers to European businesses and investors seeking to expand into Southeast Asia that gathered approximately 85 participants. The panel also provided an opportunity to raise awareness of the SEA IP Helpdesk, introducing its free first-line intellectual property support services for European SMEs interested in doing business in Southeast Asia. Participants were informed about the Helpdesk’s guidance on protecting and managing intellectual property rights across the region, helping companies navigate IP-related challenges when entering new markets.
The event and Indonesia’s participation, represented by SPI, were also covered by Vista Económica in an article published on 29 June 2026.
SPI’s participation reflects its continued commitment to supporting European businesses in their internationalisation efforts by promoting access to reliable intellectual property services and fostering stronger cooperation between Europe and Southeast Asia.
