SPI attended the 3rd Assembly Meeting and 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the GlycanTrigger project, held in Paris from May 14 to 15, 2025. The two-day meeting brought together partners to review progress across all six work packages, plan upcoming activities, and gather feedback from the project’s External Advisory Board.
Francisco Rocha and Diana Sousa represented SPI and presented the work carried out under Work Package 5 – Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation.
The meeting also featured seminars by external experts – Professor Guy Gorochov from Sorbonne University and Professor Rinse K. Weersma from the University Medical Center Groningen – providing valuable scientific insights.
Through collaborative updates, expert contributions, and dynamic discussions, the GlycanTrigger consortium is advancing its goal to better understand the gut glycome’s role in immune-mediated diseases.
