Funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme, the EMPORIA4KT project aims to improve transnational cooperation and synergies between the triple helix players of academia, business and government, to foster innovation and competitiveness in support of the Blue Economy in the Atlantic Area. The project empowers researchers to transfer their knowledge outputs and innovations to different sectors. The ‘Blue Economy Technology Transfer Programme’ was implemented in France, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and the UK and the programme focused on developing routes to market for selected Blue Economy Early-Stage Technologies (EST), carried out by teams of researchers with the support of experienced technology transfer mentors and advisors.
