SPI - Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação participated in the 6th Meeting of the i2LATAM Management Team in Bariloche, Argentina

From the 15th to the 18th of November, SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação participated in the 6th Meeting of the  i2LATAM Management Team in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina. SPI was represented by Andréia Santos, who collaborated with the Universidade do Porto, the co-coordinator institution, in the establishment of the workshop aiming to promote the development of strategic and challenge-based interdisciplinary research projects.

The general objective of the i2LATAM project is to strengthen research and innovation capacities in young Latin American universities by fostering innovative collaboration strategies between the university and key regional socio-economic actors.

In addition to presentations and workshops on each project work package, the agenda of activities included visits to relevant research institutions on the regional scenario, such as the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro and the Argentinean high-tech company INVAP, as well as cultural attractions.
