On the 20th and 21st of April EU Startups hosted the 2023 edition of EU-Startups Summit (https://www.eustartups.com/eu-startups-summit-2023/), in Barcelona. It was an event where many of Europe’s hottestStartups came together to learn from some of the most successful European entrepreneurs. In total more than 2.000 participants, representing about 1.200 companies attended the Summit.Dr. Sara Medina and Pedro Monteiro, from SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, represented the EUSME Centre (https://www.eusmecentre.org.cn/) at this illustrious event as one of its project partners.
EUSME Centre is a European Union initiative that provides a comprehensive range of hands-on supportservices to European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), getting them ready to do business inChina. The Centre’s team of experts provides advice and support in four areas: business development,
law, standards and conformity, and human resources.Collaborating with external experts worldwide, the Centre converts valuable knowledge and experience into
practical business tools and services easily accessible online.
In order to maximize the Centre’s exposure, an exhibition booth was on display at the venue via which Networking and Information exchange was made possible. In addition, Dr. Sara conducted a presentation, with the title “How European SMEs and Startups can expand to China”.
