SPI took part in the INNOVAZUL event held in Cadiz, Spain between 29 Nov. and 2 Dec. 2022
Between 29th November and 2nd December SPI took part in the INNOVAZUL event held in Cadiz, Spain. – The 2nd International Meeting on Knowledge and the Blue Economy was organized by the University of Cadiz together with the institutions and companies associated with the Campus of International Excellence of the Sea (CEIMAR), the European University of the Seas SEA-EU and with the support of the Regional Government of Andalusia, the City Council of Cadiz, and other administrations. This international meeting intended to promote the creation of networks and the exchange of good practices in transformative innovation policies, to contribute to good collaborations between the business and research sectors, and to define the new roadmap for the Blue Economy innovation ecosystem.
As part of this event the EMPORIA4KT, an Interreg project in which SPI is a consortium member, organised a workshop focused in upscaling academia knowledge transfer skills in Blue Economy.
In the last day, during the 9th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference, the EMPORIA4KT was presented the Atlantic Area Award for the Blue Skills and Ocean Literacy category.
