Study on EU agri-food exports via e-commerce to China (DG INTPA)


The overall aim of the study was to provide sound and comprehensive description, analysis, and conclusions on the existing and potential market opportunities for EU agri-food stakeholders to export agri-food products via e-commerce to China, including a particular focus on Geographic Indications (GIs) and organic products.

The study described the general context of EU agri-food exports via e-commerce to China, focusing on market growth and size, average consumers, online sales channels, applicable rules and regulations, logistics and payment solutions, and third-party service providers.
