ENRICH in the USA (European Network of Research and Innovation Centers and Hubs) supports European research and innovation actors looking to expand and strengthen their collaboration and commercialization with the USA

On the 4th, 5th and 6th of October, SPI participated in the 11th Consortium Meeting of the Horizon 2020 URBAN GreenUP project, in Liverpool, UK.

Andréia Santos, Senior Consultant, represented SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação at the 4th Consortium Meeting of the SYNERGY project, which took place in Lisbon, Portugal.

Between the 29th and 30th of September, within the scope of the project “Izmir NIC – Network and Innovation Center”, SPI participated in several virtual and also physical meetings in Lisbon.

SPI attended the Kick-off (KO) Meeting of the MAIA (Maximising Impact and Accessibility of European Climate Research) project on 26th – 27th September.

The speakers of this 3rd session were Monique Kwachou (Better Breed Cameroon / University of the Free State), Simone Andersson (WEEE Centre) and Tania Tena Pérez (Fundación Mujeres por Africa).

The meeting focused on the presentation and discussion of project final results and overall impact, including a WP status update.

On the 14th of September, the Honorable Consul General of Luxembourg in São Paulo, Brazil, Jan Eichbaum, visited SPI’s office in Porto. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the prospects that some Brazilian institutions and companies have to expand their work to Europe.

The seminar, which occurred between September 14th and September 23rd , was attended by leaders of government and consular institutions from China, Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries and Timor-Leste (PALOP-TL).
