The first day of the meeting started with welcome speeches by Miguel Angel Garcia Muro, Deputy of Digital Transformation of Zaragoza City (Area of Economy, Digital Transformation, and Transparency), and David Rodríguez Ochoa, Head of the Funding and Transfer Unit at CIRCE. It was followed by the Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting where each of the Work Packages and its development status was presented.

Sara Medina and Susana Seabra in representation of SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, and Davide Orlandi in representation of EU SME Centre, travelled to Nante, France between the 12th and 14th of June to participate in the EBN Congress 2024.

Between the 3rd and 7th of June 2024, the SPI team, under the MSCAdvocacy project funded under the Horizon Europe Programme of the European Commission, developed a mission to Argentina (Buenos Aires and Cordoba).

SPI participated in the SARASWATI 2.0 Consortium Meeting held in Sevilla, Spain, on May 28-29, 2024. This prestigious event brought together global experts and leading innovators in water technology to discuss groundbreaking advancements stemming from the project financed by European Commission and collaborative efforts in the field.

On June 11-13, 2024, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação – SPI, joined the MONTEVITIS 3rd Workshop on “Regionality in adaptation measures in European viticulture”. The event took place in Luxembourg at the facilities of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).
In the framework of the project, SPI leads the promotion of the communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities of MONTEVITIS and supports the strengthening of UDG’s administration and research management capacity in Work Package 4. Ricardo Oliveira and Valeriia Hudz represented SPI at both the workshop and consortium meetings.

SPI participated in Urbis – The Smart Cities Meet up, held in Brno, Czech Republic, from June 4th to 6th, 2024. The event brought together professionals from the research, industry and city sectors. SPI also participated in the SPARCS Energy Solutions Day

SPI, in collaboration with BIC Africa, participated in a scoping mission in Angola carried out by BIC Africa and participated in the Angola Startup Summit. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) Angola, represented by Manuel Caia Paulo and Chabir Hassam
