SPI attends RIS3 Conference - Territorial Cooperation, Innovation and Smart Specialisation Strategies
SPI participated in the Conference – RIS3 Territorial Cooperation, Innovation and Smart Specialisation Strategies, which took place in Salamanca on 21 and 22 October. This event was organised by Fundación Rei Afonso Henriques, in partnership with CCDR Norte, CCDR Centro, Junta de Castilla y León, and the University of Salamanca.
During the conference, SPI presented the Cross-Border RIS3 Castilla y León Norte – Norte de Portugal, a project developed by the company, reinforcing the importance of cross-border cooperation and laying the foundations for future joint work. Several working groups were also held on topics of cross-border relevance, such as Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Technologies, Agri-Food Systems and Bioeconomy, Renewable Energies, Health, and Tourism and Heritage, which contributed to defining guidelines for joint work between the various regions involved.
This was also an opportunity to strengthen relations with universities, technology centres and other entities in the field of innovation and territorial development.
