SPI participated in Seafood Expo Global 2025, held in Barcelona from 6 to 8 May, as part of its role in the South-East Asia (SEA) IP SME Helpdesk initiative.

On 25 and 26 March 2025 SPI attended the Just Transition Helix Event & Transferability Workshop. This event was organized by the BOLSTER Project, in collaboration with Bankwatch, Crowdhelix, and Tilburg University. This interactive event aimed to turn theory into action

As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening international research and innovation between EU and AU partnerships, SPI took part in the 4th Workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Facilitating and Strengthening R&I at the Africa-Europe Interface, held on 15 April 2025 during GITEX Africa in Marrakech, Morocco.

As part of the South-East Asia Intellectual Property (SEA IP) SME Helpdesk, SPI proudly participated in Hannover Messe 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology and innovation. This year’s edition brought together over 4,000 exhibitors and more than 127,000 industry professionals

On March 31 and April 1, SPI participated in the REGENERAR EU Consortium Meeting, excellently hosted by the Biomedical Center (BMC), Physiological Genomics, Faculty of Medicine, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.

The Re-Place consortium held its General Assembly in Bamberg, Germany, on 27–28 March. SPI, as the leader of WP8 (Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation), participated in the event, which was hosted by the University of Bamberg.

SPI, as part of the South-East Asia Intellectual Property (SEA IP) SME Helpdesk, participated in Food Expo Greece 2025, held at Metropolitan Expo in Athens. Recognised as the leading food and beverage trade show in Southeast Europe, the expo attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from around the world.

From March 3rd to 5th, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) participated in the European Ocean Days in Brussels, under the BlueMissionAA and AtlantECO projects. This is a key event to shape European ocean policies and foster collaboration under the Mission Ocean banner.
